California Privacy Notice

This California Privacy Notice ("Notice") supplements the information contained in our Privacy Policy and applies solely to residents of the State of California ("consumers" or "you"). This Notice is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA), and any implementing regulations (collectively, "California Privacy Law").

2. Sources of Personal Information

We obtain the categories of personal information listed above from the following sources:

  • Directly from you: Information you provide when creating an account, making purchases, contacting support, or using our Services.

  • From third parties: Information from payment processors, social media platforms (if you use social login), analytics providers, and identity verification services.

We do not sell your personal information. We have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve (12) months.

Sharing for Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising: We may share certain personal information (such as online identifiers and browsing activity) with advertising partners for targeted advertising purposes. Under California Privacy Law, this may be considered "sharing" of personal information. You have the right to opt out of this sharing.

5. Retention of Personal Information

We retain each category of personal information for only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as described in our Privacy Policy. Our specific retention periods are:

  • Account Data: Duration of account plus 3 years after closure
  • Transaction Records: 7 years (legal/tax requirements)
  • Communication Records: 2 years after last interaction
  • Browsing/Usage Data: 12 months
  • Marketing Preferences: Until you opt out or delete your account

6.1 Right to Know

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information about our collection and use of your personal information over the past twelve (12) months, including:

  • The categories of personal information we collected about you
  • The categories of sources from which we collected personal information
  • Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling personal information
  • The categories of third parties with whom we share personal information
  • The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you

6.2 Right to Delete

You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected and retained, subject to certain exceptions. We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service providers to:

  • Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information
  • Detect security incidents or protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity
  • Debug to identify and repair errors
  • Comply with a legal obligation
  • Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it

6.3 Right to Correct

You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal information we maintain about you, taking into account the nature of the personal information and the purposes of processing.

6.4 Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing

6.5 Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

You have the right to limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to uses that are necessary to provide the Services, perform certain business purposes, or as otherwise permitted by law.

6.6 Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your California privacy rights. We will not:

  • Deny you goods or services
  • Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services
  • Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services
  • Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services

7. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights described above, you may submit a verifiable consumer request to us through our support channels. Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information.

You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The request must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it

We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days of receipt. If we require additional time (up to 45 additional days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

8. Financial Incentive Programs

We do not currently offer any financial incentive programs that involve the collection of personal information.

9. Changes to This Notice

We may update this California Privacy Notice from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated notice on this page and update the "Last updated" date. We encourage California residents to periodically review this notice.
